ICFM flexible learning approach sees launch of
CD-ROM modules
18 March 2008
The Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) has announced the availability of its Introductory and Certificate level programmes in CD-ROM format to complement existing hard-copy versions of the modules.
According to chairman, Roddy Graham: “The ICFM is always developing new formats for the delivery of core training in fleet management principles and practice to maximise the opportunities for the studying of professional fleet management qualifications.”
The CD-ROM–based programmes provide greater flexibility for students when completing study sessions by transferring their learning between work and home-based environments. The new format also helps with the important process of relating the principles covered by the modules to real issues and areas for improvement in the car fleet operation.
As with the traditional hard-copy versions, the new modules include full user guidance together with hints and tips on effective self-study.
The five Certificate level modules cost £90 each plus £6 p&p. The Introductory Certificate level module costs £55 plus £6 p&p. To order copies, please contact ICFM administration manager, Lynn Eldridge on 01462 744914 or education and training manager, Steve Hook on 01769 520609. E-mail: administration@icfm.com
The ICFM has also re-introduced guidelines for supporting ICFM education and training for use by line managers and/or sponsors of trainees.
