Countrywide celebrates 10th anniversary with Alec Stewart
24 December 2003
Countrywide Vehicle Management Limited, part of the Leasedrive
Group, one of the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management
groups in the UK, celebrated its 10th anniversary at the Oval this
month in the company of Alec Stewart, England’s most capped cricketer
ever. Alec retired from first class cricket this year to
focus on his business interests and has signed a promotional deal
with the Leasedrive Group for 2004.
Brainchild of current chief executive officer, Roger Partridge,
the main Countrywide Car and Van Rental division has developed
into the UK’s second largest vehicle rental distributor for the
corporate market. More recently, a new division called Countrywide
Vehicle Management was established offering a complete range of
carefully structured vehicle mobility solutions.
Leasedrive Group commercial director, Roddy Graham said: “The
Countrywide brand is well recognised in the corporate market place
as delivering real value for money. Its portfolio of services
has recently been expanded and Countrywide is strongly positioned
for further growth over the next ten years.”
