Leasedrive Group, the subject of a recent BIMBO transaction valued at £45m, has appointed Karen Bowen to the new position of UK business development manager.

Commercial director, Roddy Graham, said: “The appointment of Karen Bowen represents the second key management appointment since we bought the business.  At the time, we stated that we wanted to grow the business and have created the first of two new business development positions.  Karen brings with her a wealth of experience in employee car ownership, a service which we will be offering to clients very shortly.  Karen’s infectious enthusiasm for our future business prospects matches our own excitement and she will undoubtedly make a valuable contribution to our growth.”

Karen Bowen, aged 38, previously worked for Arval PHH Vehicle Solutions for over eight years, latterly as head of employee car ownership and personal motoring.  This was a new function she spearheaded.  Previously, she held the position of client relationship manager, business development and area sales manager, new business.  Karen has also nearly five years additional fleet experience with Interleasing, holding business development and major contract hire account management roles.  She started her career in business development with Office International, before moving to Dictaphone.
