Leasedrive VELO

Leasedrive Group, the subject of a recent BIMBO transaction valued at £45m, has just signed two major IT contracts.  By the autumn, Leasedrive aims to have built a world class fleet management service capability.  The first contract signed is with CHP Consulting for the provision of ALFA, the market leading solution for the asset finance, consumer finance and automotive finance industries.  ALFA systems will be used to provide critical support for the group’s contract hire and fleet management business processes.  The second contract is with epyx, the leading automotive software specialist, to develop a bespoke range of pioneering online customer services.

Chief operating officer, David Bird said: “When we completed our BIMBO transaction at the end of May, we announced that we would be making significant investments in the business.  Without doubt, the ALFA and epyx systems are world class and, by successfully integrating them, we will have the best leading edge quality business solutions in the fleet industry.  Leasedrive and its customers will benefit from the finest asset management system and pioneering web-based customer service technology.

“These investments are central to the launch of a new range of product and service innovations.  When available, Leasedrive will set new benchmark standards for operational and customer service quality in the industry.      

“ALFA, with its best-in-class customer relationship management capability, will allow us to raise the bar for levels of quality customer service and efficiency.

“Meanwhile, epyx will enable us to deliver new levels of customer control online.  For example, a fleet manager will be able to order vehicles online and track them through the entire production and delivery process.  Then, during the company car life cycle, he will have total control of the service, maintenance and repair schedules.”

The ALFA system is built on a fourth generation database and will allow the Leasedrive Group to fully integrate all its business processes and accommodate future growth.

The Leasedrive Group was the subject of a recent £45m BIMBO transaction.  It is one of the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups in the UK.  The group comprises Leasedrive Limited, a high quality bespoke contract hire service provider, and Countrywide Vehicle Management Limited, the UK’s second largest short-term vehicle rental broker in the corporate market place.
