Leasedrive wins ‘Best Contract Hire/Fleet Management Company’ Award
at the 2006 Fleet News Awards
16 March 2006
At last night’s 2006 Fleet News Awards, Leasedrive Group,
the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management group
in the UK, won the prestigious ‘Best Contract Hire/Fleet Management
Company’ Award. The award is for the company judged to provide
the best all-round service, product range, cost effectiveness and
support for fleet customers and their drivers.
Commercial director, Roddy Graham said: “After being Highly
Commended at last year’s awards, we have gone one step better and
lifted the top prize. This is a tremendous accolade and recognition
of all the hard work put in by our staff on behalf of our customers.
“We have always been driven by a passion to deliver the best-in-class,
all round service. Our high quality bespoke vehicle management
service is continually being enhanced to meet the future business
needs of our clients. They all benefit from the on-going investment
and development programme in our industry-leading, bespoke online
totally integrated fleet management system, Drive:Manager.”
The winning citation for the ‘Best Contract Hire/Fleet Management
Company’ Award at this year’s Fleet News Awards stated:
A classic case of biggest not necessarily meaning best. Leasedrive
found favour for its innovation, clear branding and description
of products. Customer service was praised, as was customer retention.
Rather than pursuing dominance of the market, the Leasedrive
approach is to be smaller and more focused. One judge commented: ‘They
don’t just say it, they do it.’ Another said: ‘A Leasedrive account
manager is a friend for life.’
The panel of judges for the supplier awards comprised: Fleet
News editor, Martyn Moore; deputy editor, Steve Moody; news
editor, Mike Roberts; Emap Consumer Media fleet manager, Debbie
Floyde; ACFO director, Julie Jenner; Fleet Audits director, Stewart
Whyte; DTZ Debenham Tie Leung, Liz Hollands; Whitbread business
relationship manager, Nigel Trotman and Pfizer buyer – fleet/facilities,
Lynne Bundle.
