Leasedrive Group ‘maximises the HR value’ of Ceridian’s fleet business

Leasedrive Group, the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management group in the UK, has won the business to supply contract hire and fleet management services to Ceridian, one of the largest providers of human resource services in the world. The sole-supply contract covers a fleet of around 130 contract hire vehicles and 130 cash-for-car drivers. Vehicle supply is predominantly BMW and Mercedes. More significantly, both companies are exploring the opportunities that a strategic alliance could provide clients in the areas of enhanced car, fleet, and risk management related services within an HR context.

Leasedrive commercial director, Roddy Graham said: “With Ceridian’s HR background it was essential that we could provide an optimum company car solution supported by the best-in-class service provision and technology. Ceridian was highly impressed with our bespoke fleet management approach and our totally integrated online fleet management system, Drive:Manager. With duty of care high on the HR and boardroom agenda, our Responsibility driver management programme was attractive to them and Ceridian is really excited by our visionary online risk assessment product.

Of greater interest still is the potential both parties have identified in working together to form a strategic alliance. For example, Ceridian is keen on promoting two of our solutions – Licence:Manager, as a standalone drivers’ licence checking tool, and the new Carbon:Manager product we have just launched, allowing company car drivers to offset their CO₂ emissions to become CarbonNeutral drivers. The part that the company car plays within the area of the fast-growing flexible benefits arena is also up for discussion.”

Ceridian is benefiting from a suite of solutions available under Drive:Manager. These include Fleet:Manager, Service:Manager, Mileage:Manager, Admin:Manager, Info:Manager and RunOut:Manager. In order to meet its corporate social responsibility and duty of care responsibilities, Ceridian is using Licence:Manager and the Responsibility business driver management programme.
