Leasedrive ‘secures’ De La Rue fleet management contract

De La Rue, the world’s largest commercial security printer and papermaker, has appointed the Leasedrive Group, the UK’s largest independent privately-owned vehicle management group, to provide a complete fleet management service for its operations in the UK.

Commercial director, Roddy Graham said: “We are delighted that our net-net transparent pricing approach, together with our bespoke online integrated fleet management system, Drive:Manager, provided us with the winning edge in this competitive tender.

“We have also been appointed to manage a pan-European fleet analysis using key specialist consultant partners.”

Peter Bateson, fleet manager, at De La Rue commented: “We were attracted by Leasedrive’s ‘net-net’ pricing approach which allows us to determine actual costs. Combined with its web-based fleet management system, this was the main reason why we selected Leasedrive.”

The new fleet management contract, based on a total and open disclosure policy, covers client policy advice, vehicle acquisition, vehicle disposal, vehicle maintenance management, roadside assistance, accident management and driver management.

De La Rue plc will benefit from a suite of solutions available under Drive:Manager including Fleet:Manager, Service:Manager, Admin:Manager and Info:Manager.

Leasedrive’s ‘net-net’ pricing approach means that the group’s income streams are derived in their entirety from monthly management fees. Clients know that the group acts purely in their interests, both from a service and financial perspective.
