Leasedrive Group measures up to Lloyd’s
Register quality standards
21 March 2006
Lloyd’s Register Group, the independent risk management organisation,
has appointed the Leasedrive Group, the largest independent privately-owned
vehicle management group in the UK, as its new contract hire supplier.
The sole-supply contract covers a fleet of around 400 contract
hire vehicles and includes accident management and short-term vehicle
rental.
Commercial director, Roddy Graham said: “Given the background
of Lloyd’s Register, we clearly had to satisfy them with our own
quality assurance standards and measurements. The competitive tender
document we had to respond to was deeply thought out and comprehensive.
We impressed Lloyd’s Register with our attention to detail, our ‘right
first time’ methodology and our ability to process map all interactions
between supplier and client.”
Dave Clarke MICFM, support services manager at Lloyd’s Register
commented: “The Leasedrive brand is synonymous with customer service
quality. The group has a proven track record in service excellence
and customer retention, which underlines its quality business approach.
Its bespoke online totally integrated fleet management system,
Drive:Manager is also highly impressive. Our concerns over the
upheaval created by changing supplier were quickly put to rest
when the RunOut:Manager module, designed to ease the transition
of a fleet from one service provider to another, swung into action.”
Lloyd’s Register is benefiting from a suite of solutions available
under Drive:Manager. These include Fleet:Manager, Service:Manager,
Admin:Manager, Info:Manager and RunOut: Manager.
The Lloyd’s Register Group works to help improve its clients’ quality,
safety, environmental and business performance throughout the world
and its expertise and activities cover shipping, oil, gas, railways
and other land-based industries. The Group has around 175 offices
worldwide and over 5,000 employees.
