Two in a row for Leasedrive VELO at the
2007 Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards
– Winners of the ‘Business Management Team’ Award

Last night Leasedrive VELO, one of the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups in the UK, won the ‘Business Management Team’ Award for the second year in a row at the 2007 Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards. Now in their 13th year, the awards recognise the “best of business” in the Thames Valley, second only to the City of London as the most important and successful business region in the UK. The awards are acknowledged as the premier multi-category awards scheme in the region and The Business Management Team award, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland, is presented to an outstanding management team that demonstrates a truly go-ahead, enlightened, innovative, and forward-thinking approach.

Leasedrive VELO commercial director, Roddy Graham said: “To win this award twice in a row is testament to the strength-in-depth, quality and expertise of our management team. 2007 has been a very big year in our history, as Leasedrive merged with VELO at the beginning of the year. Successful integration of our two businesses, operating now off one management information system, has been achieved seamlessly and within planned timescales. We have continued to invest in the business, offer an even broader portfolio of services and continue to win major new accounts, providing blue chip clients with the highest quality bespoke vehicle management service available.

“However, the success of any management team is dependent on the commitment, dedication and enthusiasm of every staff member so this award is as much for all our employees as the management team which won it.”

The award was presented to commercial director, Roddy Graham by Alastair Campbell, the former chief press secretary and close ally to former Prime Minister, Tony Blair, at the Madjeski Stadium Conference Centre in Reading.
