Leasedrive VELO builds on its impressive blue chip client portfolio with Davis Langdon win
31 October 2007
Leasedrive VELO, one of the UK’s largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups in the UK, has won a competitive tender to supply leading project and cost management consultancy Davis Langdon with contract hire and fleet management services. The contract initially covers 260 contract hire drivers and 170 fleet managed vehicles for the company’s partners.
Commercial director, Roddy Graham at Leasedrive VELO said: “Davis Langdon is a premier consultancy firm in the construction industry and its winning approach is exemplified by its association with some of the most prestigious construction projects in the UK including Tate Modern, the Royal Festival Hall and the Eden Project. The firm is also involved in many motor industry projects including Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands, Surrey and numerous manufacturing facilities and dealerships for prestigious marques. Besides our open approach and our totally-integrated fleet management solution, Drive:Manager, Davis Langdon was impressed with the levels of service we provide for our many blue chip clients.”
Neil Ashton, head of procurement, commented: “We previously sourced our cars from three contract hire companies via a broker and sought to bring our requirements under one quality specialist fleet management provider. Leasedrive VELO’s systems capability and pricing transparency were major deciding factors.”
Davis Langdon will benefit from a suite of solutions available under Drive:Manager. These include Fleet:Manager, Service:Manager, Licence:Manager, Admin:Manager, Info:Manager and RunOut:Manager.
