Final total raised for Marie Curie Cancer Care from
Leasedrive Velo London to Paris Bike Ride reaches £16,472

The final amount raised by a team of 14 riders entered by Leasedrive Velo Group, one of the UK’s largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups, in a specially-organised 250-mile charity bike ride between London and Paris in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care was £16,471.99.
Team leader and commercial director of Leasedrive Velo Group, Roddy Graham said: “Our original target was £5,000 and, thanks to all the tremendous support from corporate sponsors and individual donations, we have more than tripled that target, which is tremendous news for such a worthwhile cause.”
The Leasedrive Velo Group team started from Parliament Square, London on Thursday June 19 and arrived at the Arc de Triomphe in the centre of Paris on June 22 after covering 250 miles. Corporate sponsors were Leasedrive Velo, Thrifty Car & Van Rental, Dick Lovett, Reach, CHP Alfa, KFC, National Mobile Windscreens, Kwik-Fit Fleet, Intelligent Data Systems, Goodyear Dunlop and Total Accident Management.

Marie Curie Cancer Care
Marie Curie Cancer Care is one of the UK’s largest charities. It was established in 1948 – the same year as the NHS – and marks its 60th anniversary in 2008.
