Leasedrive VELO

Leasedrive Velo wins tasty new contract with KFC
3 December 2008

The Leasedrive Velo Group, one of the UK’s largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups, has won a major new leasing contract with KFC, the world’s most popular chicken restaurant chain. The multi-supply contract hire and fleet management agreement covers 60 contract hire and 90 cash-for-car drivers in the UK.

Roddy Graham, commercial director, at the Leasedrive Velo Group said: “This is another great win for us following a detailed competitive tender with a major client focus on duty of care. KFC had been reviewing its company car policy and as a result of the partnership, hopes to encourage more of its cash-for-car drivers back into contract hire vehicles.

“A major emphasis of this new contract is on managing risk, and modules such as Responsibility and Licence:Manager within our online totally-integrated fleet management system, Drive:Manager were key deciding factors.”

Martin Shuker, MD, KFC UK, commented: “As a responsible employer, we take the provision of the company car benefit very seriously. Leasedrive Velo demonstrated that it had the right approach to understanding our needs and came up with tailored solutions for our business. We were very impressed with the expertise and professionalism displayed by Leasedrive Velo’s consultants.”

KFC will benefit from a suite of solutions available under Drive:Manager including Fleet:Manager, Service:Manager, Admin:Manager, Info:Manager, Accident:Manager, Licence:Manager and Responsibility.
