Ex-football pro MacDonald appointed Account Manager

The Leasedrive Velo Group, one of the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups in the UK, has expanded the field sales team within its rental management division with the appointment of Gary MacDonald as an account manager.

Gary, aged 29, joins the Group from a similar position held with the Guardian Media Group, where he applied his professional approach to delivering the highest customer service levels.

Before entering corporate life, Gary MacDonald enjoyed a successful career as a professional football player. Over the last decade, he has played for Portsmouth, Peterborough United, Stevenage Borough, Woking and Ebbsfleet United. Highlight of his football career was winning the FA Trophy at Wembley Stadium, when Ebbsfleet United beat Torquay United
