Traffic:Manager module added to Drive:Manager system

Leasedrive Velo Group, one of the UK’s largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups, has just added the Traffic:Manager module to its award-winning totally-integrated online fleet management system, Drive:Manager. Traffic:Manager delivers live traffic information on current traffic conditions throughout Great Britain direct to the workplace desktops of ‘at work’ drivers and fleet managers.

Roddy Graham, commercial director, at the Leasedrive Velo Group said: “Traffic:Manager is a useful tool to check traffic flow on your planned route before setting off. If hold-ups are highlighted, you can avoid unnecessary delays by choosing an alternative route, using detailed desktop maps in conjunction with Route:Manager.”

Traffic:Manager relies on real-time traffic updates from the Highways Agency to highlight potential route problems throughout Great Britain using Google’s detailed mapping facility. Free-flowing and congested motorways and main roads are highlighted by simple, user-friendly colour-codes.
