Leasedrive Velo adds Avis as a preferred rental supplier

Leasedrive Velo has signed a preferred supplier agreement with Avis UK for the provision of rental vehicles to its rental management division. The agreement is for an initial three-year period and will see Leasedrive Rental Management, one of the UK’s largest short-term vehicle rental management companies in the corporate market place, offer its customers increased access to nearly 220,000 vehicles from more than 1,200 locations in the UK including airports.

Commercial director, Roddy Graham said: “We are absolutely delighted to add Avis to our list of approved vehicle rental suppliers. This new agreement will provide access to additional vehicles and locations for our rental customers plus the provision at UK airports of a fast-track rental service called Leasedrive Velo Express.”

Leasedrive Velo Rental Management has a simple and transparent pricing policy with no hidden surcharges and rates are constant throughout the whole of the UK. The division offers free unlimited mileage for short-term rental, free nationwide/home/out-of-hours delivery and collection, free one-way rentals, free express airport check-in and free unlimited mileage.

The Leasedrive Velo Rental Management reservations and customer service centre, based at the company’s hi-tech headquarters in Wokingham, represents one point of contact for local and national vehicle rental. It handles bookings by telephone, fax and e-mail. Its interactive online reservation system, Rental:Manager allows vehicle rental bookings to be made quickly in less than 20 seconds per transaction for regular users.

For rentals of 28 days or more, Leasedrive Velo Rental Management offers the Stopgap Mid-term Vehicle Rental solution and for rentals of 90 days or more there is Stopgap Plus. Stopgap provides very low-cost vehicles, compared to daily rental, for ex-pats, employees on probation and as cost-effective alternatives to pool and company cars.
