Leasedrive retains Experian

Leasedrive, the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management group in the UK, has re-signed Experian, the leading global information services company, as a fleet management customer for a further five years after the latter went out to tender. Experian was originally one of Masterlease UK's five largest customers, with a fleet size of around 650 vehicles, and, following the successful integration of Masterlease UK, it recognised the new Leasedrive Group as the best fleet partner.

Commercial director, Roddy Graham, at Leasedrive said: “I'm delighted that we were able to persuade Experian that the new Leasedrive organisation is the right partner for the management of its vehicle fleet and for delivering aspirational employee benefits.

“Masterlease UK had been Experian’s sole fleet supplier since 2002 and had provided a full range of additional services, under a continuous development programme, including accident management and short-term hire.

“Throughout the recent tender process we were able to demonstrate not only the excellent service Experian and its employees have received from the Birmingham team and help desk but also the product and service evolution which has seen Experian’s scheme remain competitive both as an employee benefit and from an employer cost perspective.”

Brian Hill, head of P2P and billing at Experian’s EMEA Shared Service Centre, commented: “Under our procurement policy, we periodically review our major suppliers and earlier this year issued a formal tender for our fleet supply.

We have also enjoyed an honest and open approach where both sides challenge each other to do better. Successful change management convinced us to continue the relationship with the new Leasedrive Group, which will see us benefit from its award-winning online total fleet management system, Drive:Manager.”
