Leasedrive Velo Group changes name and re-brands

The Leasedrive Velo Group, the UK’s largest independent privately-owned vehicle management group, has been re-named the Leasedrive Group and has unveiled a new ‘Leasedrive’ brand logo. These changes follow the successful integration of Masterlease UK, after the group was appointed by Investec at the end of last year to manage, operate and integrate the latter’s acquisition of the UK contract hire business of Masterlease UK.

Commercial director, Roddy Graham, at the Leasedrive Group said: “At the time of our appointment, we stated that the fit between our group and Masterlease UK was excellent and so it has proved. Unfortunately, with the Masterlease name only available to us under licence in the short term the choice of new group name was actually quite straightforward. In future, we will be known as Leasedrive.

“We have chosen colours which as closely as possible mirror those of the two previous brands. Our recognisable humming bird icon has been replaced by a new ‘LD’ icon.

“By combining the best elements of both identities, and adopting a new icon, we have endeavoured through the new branding to reassure our blue chip customers that they are dealing with a familiar service provider, the look and feel underscoring our fleet expertise.

“Indeed, the new logo colours and icon reflect the fact that at the heart of the Leasedrive Group beats a common core business philosophy. Namely, a focused commitment to the highest level of bespoke customer service aimed at delivering operational excellence.”
