Two in a row for Leasedrive Velo’s Rental:Manager in BusinessCar Techies Awards 650-vehicle contract with Leasedrive Velo

For the second successive year, the Leasedrive Velo Group, one of the UK’s largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups, has won the Best Rental System category in the BusinessCar Techies 2010 Awards for its Rental:Manager award-winning online vehicle rental booking system.

Roddy Graham, commercial director, at the Leasedrive Velo Group said: “To have won a fleet industry technology Oscar for the second time in a row is testament indeed to the outstanding features of our Rental:Manager online vehicle rental booking facility. We are delighted that Rental:Manager has been recognised yet again!”

Latest features of Rental:Manager include a new ‘Favourites’ feature allowing a 20-second booking time for regular bookings and a new electronic invoicing system for quicker administration and carbon footprint reduction. In addition, the security around Rental:Manager has been strengthened further allowing clients to refuse connections from non-recognised source IP addresses and the encryption of email traffic.
