Leasedrive Velo wins second Buying Solutions framework agreement – now for vehicle hire provision

Following a comprehensive online tender process, the Leasedrive Velo Group, one of the UK’s largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups, has won a place on a second framework agreement from Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services. The group is one of only two suppliers on the framework agreement to cover all three lots (Lots 1, 2 and 3) for the provision of pan-government vehicle hire services, ranging from cars to commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes. The agreement is effective from 22 March 2010 and is for a four-year period.

Roddy Graham, commercial director, at the Leasedrive Velo Group said: “Following the award last year we received from Buying Solutions for general fleet management services, this latest one awarded to our rental management division is terrific news given the long standing public sector customer base of that division.

“Now that both our vehicle management and rental management divisions have been awarded framework agreements, we represent a one-stop shop solution for any government or public sector department looking to outsource its fleet or rental management requirements.”
