“JSPR provided PR support for the 2003 London Classic Motor Show and were the ideal choice for the newly re-branded event for 2004 – Classic Cars Live! JSPR successfully interpreted the event's PR objectives and was able to fulfil the show's ticket promotion objectives, reaching a combined potential audience of over 4 million. This level was achieved despite the strong competition of Mothering Sunday promotions.
JSPR were 'spot-on' with their targeted press releases throughout the six-month period. Editorial coverage was secured in various rival classic car titles and national newspaper coverage included the Sunday Times, The Independent and The Times.
Press pass requests were up 158% – a definite indication of the increased 'noise' generated for the event. Media attendance was up by 154% year-on-year, 97% up on the Saturday and 57% up on the Sunday. Media reaction to the re-branded event was extremely positive, as evidenced by the post show articles that have appeared.
